Women In Enterprise: International Women’s Day Event #EmbraceEquity

On the 8th of March, very kindly sponsored by Trusted Novus Bank the WIE / GFSB will be holding an interactive event and introducing a “Lean In Peer Support Groups” program in Gibraltar to celebrate International Womens Day.

WIE is launching a ‘Lean In’ program in Gibraltar which is the establishment of small groups who come together for an hour a month to support each other.

The Minister for Equality the Hon Samantha Sacramento will open the event.
Fiona Young a Mediation Lawyer and Legal Consultant will give a short presentation on the theme of Embracing Equity.
Stewart Harrison from Digital Skills Academy will then give a short presentation about his work with girls and women in the digital sector.
The main event is the opportunity for the participants to experience a “lean in circle” which is a group of people coming together to share experiences, listen to and inspire each other with a view to creating positive support networks with the hope of encouraging more diverse and equitable groups of people working together to encourage and support the participants.
The closing speech will be at 11:00 am followed by a chance to network and engage.
Please note this event on the 8th of March is also open to non-GFSB members.
