Office of Fair Trading Business licensing

The Office of Fair Trading (OFT) is a regulator set up by Her Majesty’s Government of Gibraltar with its legal framework Fair Trading Act 2015 and its subsidiary legislation.
Business Licensing is always an area that raises multiple questions from our membership.
Questions like:
How long does the process take?
What are the licensing requirements?
Are there different types of licenses to trade?
What are the premises requirements for traders?
What are the requirements for online retailers?
And many many more.
The GFSB has arranged for the OFT to meet our members to present to them and take their questions.
