WOMEN IN ENTERPRISE

Women in Enterprise (formerly Women In Business) was originally established in the 1990’s in Gibraltar as an independent organisation.
It was re-launched as Women In Business Gibraltar in 2013, and in 2019, it evolved into Women in Enterprise following a merger with the GFSB.
Founded by Lydia Darham and Dr. Diane Sloma, the network has always championed the growth and empowerment of women in the Business community.
We recognise that gender is not binary and are deeply committed to equality and inclusion.
We believe in the power of difference and diversity, and our mission is to support our members in challenging bias, reducing stereotyping, and eliminating discriminiation in the workplace.
Everything you need to know about Women in Enterprise (WIE) in Gibraltar:
Tonia Brooks served as chairwoman of Women in Business Gibraltar
Janet Brear was Chair of Women in Business (WIB) in 2017. Under her leadership, WIB explored modernizing the network and aligning its profile with contemporary approaches to professional diversity and inclusion. In 2019, WIB unified with the GFSB, continuing its mission under the GFSB umbrella.
These transitions reflect the ongoing commitment to supporting and advancing women’s roles in Gibraltar’s business community.
